Funding your pilot training can sometimes be a challenge. There are a number of opportunities that exist that can help you achieve your dream to fly without breaking the bank. Below you will find information on the various avenues to fund your flight training. Some of these opportunities are only for specific regions and will be noted as such. Fund your Pilot Training
There are generally 3 avenues to fund your flight training and they include bursaries, scholarships, and loans. Currently, there are student loans available to fund a Private Pilot License. The reason for this is that it is considered a recreational activity. Once you begin the commercial portion of your flight training you would be able to access student loans. If you need more traditional forms of funding for your Private Pilot training we recommend you speak to your bank or other lending institutions to see what they can offer you.
