What is Confidently Held Misinformation?
Let's take a deeper look at what confidently held misinformation is and how we can identify and correct it.
Imagine a pilot who was sure they knew how to calculate takeoff performance but was actually wrong!
Using cognitive science principles, artificial intelligence will foster rapid learning and long-term retention. Each student will get a personalized learning experience as the system adapts to their current knowledge.
Confidence, which is the precursor to action, will be measured for each student. Confidently held misinformation will be detected and corrected.
The learning experience is unique to Level Flight where each student will be given a series of multiple-choice questions. While selecting the answer they believe to be correct, they will also indicate their confidence in their choice.
After the series of questions is complete, the student will be presented with a learning round which will take them through each question they either got wrong or were not fully confident in answering. During the learning round, they will be provided with critical information required to understand the question and solidify their knowledge of the topic. After the learning round is complete, it's back to more questions!
Students can easily track their progress by accessing the top menu. They can also return to review their results and re-take some of the question and learning rounds for further practice and review.
